Greetings Fellow Tanglers!
I hope that everyone had
a great Easter, and is enjoying the spring weather. The challenge this week at
the diva is a Coffee, Tea, or Me challenge, or in other words spilled, dripped
or blotted things. In my case I used a tile that I have been using as a coaster
at school, that was stained with you guessed it coffee. Can’t live without it in
my world!
I kept it pretty simple
with two tangles, Enyshou and Jetties. It’s looking like another busy week, so
that’s all folks!
Thanks for stopping by,
and for all of your lovely comments!
They do make my day!
Have a great week and
Tangle on!
Beautiful Kate! The grey Jetties are perfect! I've never tried Enyshou.... and I think know I should! :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like an almost transparent oktopus - wonderful composition, Kate
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flow!
ReplyDeleteImpressive and fun to look at!
ReplyDeleteWonderful pale Giant jetties juxtaposedvwith bright, smaller ones!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful composition with a gorgeous transparent piece!
ReplyDelete"That's all folks"....hmmm seems like I heard that before..ah yes, the cartoon characters all said that at the end of a cartoon, I remember from my childhood, a hundred years ago. Great tile, Lady Kate. That is a very beautiful composition and I like how you drew Enyshou. I have not seen anyone draw it like that and I am going to use how you did it in my future drawings. How did you get the transparent look with some of your tangles looking like they are far away? Interesting.
ReplyDeleteThanks Duane, Yes I am old so that was a reference to the old Loney tune cartoons.... yes way back in the day... The big Jetties were done only with pencil and then blended a bit. Enyshou is not one that I use a lot but went random with something that I hadn't used for awhile. Some tangles I struggled with here and there, so thanks... This would have been one of them.
DeleteAH, this is terrific! I want to call it "Cthulu in the PoolHall" hahahaha! but what a great use of the coffee rings. And the colors are just right.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I had a good laugh, and I needed it! 😉
DeleteWhat a great idea using your coaster! Could easily make a set and gift them!
ReplyDeleteI like those Jetties being quite vague by drawing them with a pencil. Thanks Kate for your loving words on my blog.
ReplyDeleteI love this tile Kate! The fade out is brilliant;-)

ReplyDeleteI love the layers of intensity and scale. So lovely and fun
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely composition with black, brown and gray! I love its elegant simplicity.
ReplyDeleteThe jetties all bouncing around are fabulous with the accent of Enyshou for contrast. Very cool, Lady Kate. c
ReplyDeleteLove the design and everything about this! Beautiful tile!😍
ReplyDeleteJust gorgeous and elegant tile! I do love your Enyshou!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely LOVE your large soft jetties filling up your coffee stain rings and they are a great counterbalance to the more solid lovely tangles!
