Weekly Challenge #379 and More

Greetings Fellow Tanglers!

It’s Happy “Holidaze” over at the diva this week. Here is my contribution to the challenge.

I am planning on hanging this wee garland on a mirror that is right inside my door as a little reminder of the season. I also decided to make some more to use as the gift tags for my family, and a few special friends. The letters have been fun to work on.

My spinner for the 12 Days of Zentangle continues to fill. This has been a super fun project. I have enjoyed seeing the video each day and seeing the different ways that the tangles have been drawn. It has also forced me to use some tangles that I seldom have used and that has been a nice thing too.

Here’s wishing you all,
Happy Christmas and Merry New Year!
Thanks for stopping by, and for all of your lovely comments!
They do make my day!
Have a great week and Tangle on!

Weekly Challenge #378 and More

Greetings Fellow Tanglers!

The diva challenge this week is a UMT 123 O’Leary by Antonine. I enjoyed using this tangle and decided to make it do a bit of double duty. I needed something this year for package to and from tags and this is going to be it, once I photograph it and the print some that is. Then I am going add to it and turn it into a card for a friend. (Ok, Triple duty, challenge, tag, and card, not bad!)

I am also taking part in the 12 Days of Zentangle and here is the start of my Spinner before tangling.

By the time Day 3 hit it looks like this. I figured if some color was good, more was better and I also added some gold to accent some of the thin bands that it has on it. I am really enjoying working on this. It’s about the right amount of work to get done and have fun doing it, without feeling overwhelmed during this busy season.

Here is another tile that I finished for IAST #271. I really enjoyed using Jody's tangle XLNT. I only had my little pack of tools that we received at zenAgain with me that day and I enjoyed the simplicity of both the tangle and the elegance of limits as I had only a few tools to work with removing all the choice. It was relaxing to have the tools chosen for me, not making the decision, but having only 2 colors, the pen, pencil and white charcoal pencil to work with.

Lastly one of the tiles, zenAgain2018tile12 that came home with me unfinished that I finally got done.
