This is something that the diva’s son Artoo, has and if you would like to know more please visit her blog here. Weekly Challenge #299

Greetings Fellow Tanglers!

This week at the diva the challenge is Drawings, pronounced “Draw wings”, one of the newer tangles from HQ. We went from one extreme weather wise, to another here in Minnesota. First the way below zero weather, to this week’s rain and high thirties and low forties weather! Quite the swing, but I am not going to complain. I have used Drawings a couple of times, first on a calendar in November that you can see here, and then during the 12 days of 3Z’s that you can view here. I really like using this tangle, but haven’t had the time to really push it and explore what it can do. Something to put on the list for now, as it is the end of the quarter for me and I am massively buried with grading. I did do one more for this challenge, using a Renaissance tile, black ink and also a wash technique learned at Tangle U awhile back, using a black gold Gelly roll pen. A little blue and white charcoal, and you have my latest version of Drawings. You can sort of see the shimmer, sparkle that it has, but as always that doesn’t photograph the best.

Weekly Challenge #298

Greetings and Happy New Year fellow Tanglers!

The diva is back this week with a Use My Tangle, UMT challenge using Orbs-la-Dee, by Anneke van Dam. Is it just me or did some of the rest of you have the Beatles song running through your head? It’s been cold here in Minnesota, so for this week I decided to work in blue… just seems to fit the season of cold, and winds, and snow. I have the dreaded winter cold too, so trying to stay warm and spend a bit of time tangling. Here is my tile for the week, a mono-tangle of Orbs-la-Dee.
