Greetings fellow Tanglers!
I had time this early part
of the week to quick get done two challenges. I have a very loaded rest of the
week, so I really needed to get them done and up. Over at i am the diva, it was
a use my tangle week and we were to use Rautyflex, by Kathrin Bendel a CZT from
Germany. I have to agree that this one is a very high focus tangle, and no
matter what I did to follow the step outs, I couldn’t get this one to work the
way it was shown. I did however get it to work pretty well by starting with
just a basic grid and going from there. I was able to see where things went
using a straight grid, the other just didn’t work with my mind. I also moved it
into some Tripoli, and I can see it morphing into quandary quite well too, and
when I have a bit more time plan to play with that one. So here is my diva
challenge, Rautyflex and Tripoli.
Over at Joey’s weekly tangle challenge she challenged us with a string and these three tangles,
Buttercup, Fescu and tipple. I had not used Buttercup before so it was another
new to me tangle, and one that I know that I will use again. I really am
looking forward to spring so used a watercolor wash of green first, and then
tangled over it.
That’s all for this
week, and as I apologize ahead of time that I won’t be able to leave comments
for you this week.
Thanks for stopping by,
and for all of your lovely comments!
They do make my day!
Have a great week and
Tangle on!
These are both lovely! The tangles on your Diva tile look great together, and the colors on Joey's tile are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteTwo wonderful tiles, super rautyflex!
ReplyDeleteI also had trouble getting Rattyflex to work properly. So I'm taking a break from trying and moving on to Other challenges. I love what you did with Joey's challenge; it's so springlike.
ReplyDeleteThese are both so pretty! The watercolour tile on your Roman Numeral III is gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteBoth are so beautyfull. The watercolour tile is really springlike.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty 😊
ReplyDeleteSometimes we have to come up with our own step outs to tangles. We don't all see things the same way, particularly in a more challenging tangle such as Rautyflex. You did very nicely with it your own way.
ReplyDeleteI like your two tiles, you make nice drawings with colour but also black and white are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteYour Diva tile is beautiful Kate!!! And the other one is so playful, I love that.
