Greetings Fellow Tanglers!
It’s been a busy couple
of weeks in my life with conferences at school. I managed this week to at least attempt the
challenge of Oh Shiny, by guest artist Amy Broady, over at the i am the diva
challenge. Of course I was in school and
didn’t have access to my stash, so I worked with what I had that day, a copper
metallic, and silver shadow Gelly roll pen. I also tried out a couple of new to
me tangles, Y-Chain, by Damy, and Sati, by Jem Miller, and put them on String
198 from tanglepatterns.com. The photo really doesn’t show the shine very well,
but here is my Oh Shiny.
Thanks for stopping by,
and for all of your lovely comments!
They do make my day!
Have a great week and
Tangle on!
Nice, I like the colors.
ReplyDeleteLovely and I like this composition.
ReplyDeleteIt is a nice tile with these soft shiny colours. I can see the tiny touches of glitter very good.
ReplyDeleteI like this tile and learned a new tangle from it 😊 I love the use of colors too, and I see the shine.
ReplyDeleteI like that pattern - Y chain, I expect. hope I can find the step outs for it. The shading really lifts it from the page.
ReplyDeleteYour tile is very nice and gentle!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and light, love the delicate feel of this shiny tile!
ReplyDeleteThat is so beautiful and elegant! Your white sparkle is what really "shines". I've looked at every submission for this challenge and it's unfortunate that the camera just doesn't read the glitz...you managed to overcome that with a skillfull composition of light and shadow. Well done!
ReplyDeleteLovely shining tile.
ReplyDeleteWow, that Printemps is so very shiny, perfect for this challenge.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, Kate. I think the tangles almost look like they are cut out and popped up over a background with the great shading you added.
ReplyDeleteVery lovely tile! I like your Printemps, too!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see it in person! The composition is gorgeous--delicate and elegant!
