Weekly Challenge #239

Greetings Tanglers! The challenge this week over at i am the diva was to use Munchin and play. I had a good time trying out a few ways to play with this tangle. Like the diva, black tiles are not my favorite. I of course couldn’t find the bottle of black gesso that I know that I have in the house, so that will have to wait until another time for me to try the divas solution, but I did try one white on a black tile. I messed up the background on the tile, so had to find a solution for that dilemma. I just cut it out around the main tangle and glued it on to a renaissance tile and continued on.

Here are two more that I played with, on a tan tile and another on the black, but using my Irojiten pencils for some color. I do like the way those work on the black tiles with the black impressed lines.

Thanks for stopping by and for all your lovely comments. They do make my day!
Have a great week and Tangle on!

  1. Lovely tiles, Kate! I love both your blue and multicolored tangles. Also I really like the effect of the black gecko background on the Renaissance tile.

  7. Nice work. I especially like the two with color. I only have a few Irojiten pencils. I got them on sale. What do you use to blend them? Is there a blending pencil like the Prismacolor?

    1. Donald, I just blend them by layering. You could use your Prismacolor blender too. They work with all brands of colored pencils.

  8. Oh wow, they're all so lovely. And the colours are so rich.
The blue one looks like sapphire, whilst the green-orange one looks like fire opal.
