Greetings everyone. Here
is my tile for the, i am the diva challenge this week. It was fun to just do a
blind string and then have to work with it. As you can see, mine ran its self
off the page ad back on. I also decided to leave a little white space, as I
thought it might get to busy without it.
Here is the original string.
I also worked some more
with Diva Dance and Phicops from a couple of weeks ago,
and on an ATC, for a trade
over at ATCsforAll.
Thank you for all the
great comments last week. I truly appreciate them.
Have a Terrific
Thursday, and Tangle On!
your tile reminds me, how nice it can be to leave some empty spaces. thank you.
ReplyDeleteLove your Blind String Challenge Tile, Kate. Your mix of solid black and color is delightfully attractive. Good choice on the White Space. Your two other tiles are delightful. Well done. Beautiful work.
ReplyDeleteLove the negative space in your blind tile, and your choices of patterns. They fit well together. And the colors of your phicops/divadance tiles is so rich and lovely. Your color pallette especially in the one with the starfish...so striking!
ReplyDeleteI really like all three examples here. the use of sepia on the blind string tile lifts it to another level entirely. Love it.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful, Kate! A lot of us left some open space in this challenge, nice to see.
ReplyDeleteLovely tiles. I like what you did with the white space and your Diva Dance/Phicops is great. You were obviously still thinking of the Dance when you did your ATC.
ReplyDeleteLove your first tile, good choice to keep some spaces white.
ReplyDeleteYour blind string comes out amazing beautiful ,also lovely use of clor. Also the other two tiles with phicops are very Nice.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful challenge tile! I like the fine contrast between dark and light and the touch of colour! Both Phicops works are very lovely, too!
ReplyDeleteYour string tile is beautiful, and the white space indeed adds to it.
ReplyDeleteThe Seashell tiles are also beautiful, with the 3rd tile - simply stunning.
These are great tangles - I like how you have incorporated white space into your blind string - it seems to be essential when dealing with such small spaces. like both phicops'
ReplyDeleteI love your Phicops, it's so threedimensional. And the red pen works great with the black and white in the "Blind String", well done.
ReplyDeleteReally great tiles, Kate. Njmber 2 is absolutely stunning! Axxx
ReplyDeleteI like the little white space you added to it and the Phicops are stunning. The last one reminds me of being at the beach with shells and the waves around me. All three are beautiful!
