Greetings Fellow Tanglers!
The diva challenge this
week is Molygon. I admit, this one I struggle with occasionally. I seem to get
my spacing off, or the ends to rounded or to pointed, and it just doesn’t flow
well for me most of the time. I still haven’t given up on it yet, but I can say
that it is not going to be one of my mac and cheese tangles. Here is my tile
for this week
The IAST #193, Tiles
for Lily
I so admire Lily’s work
and wish her the best as she goes through this difficult time. Here is my tile,
with love for Lily and her family.
Lastly another little
bijou to be launched out as RAZ, random act of Zentangle.
Thanks for stopping by,
and for all of your lovely comments!
They do make my day!
Have a great week and
Tangle on!
Whow! You made Molygon to a very special one! And a Lovely tile for Lily!
ReplyDeleteI love what you did with Molygon. I'm still playing but have done something similar - with it within panels - but yours is super and large and bulging - whereas mine is smaller and more busy!
ReplyDeleteI love the effect of a window in your diva tile, like a glimpse into another world with beautiful molygon creatures!
ReplyDeleteYes, window shutters, that is what I saw instantly - like of a mansarde room in an old Parisian apartment building on Charles Floquet overlooking the Eiffel Tower. Love it. Lily will be very pleased with your tile.
ReplyDeleteAll lovely, but the last one is my favorite!!!
ReplyDeleteI love your Onamato-filled Molygon! And your frames connected with a lovely hinge. :) Your tile for Lily is so soft and gentle, like a loving hug. And what a darling Bijou of beautiful shapes & colors! I love RAZs. :) Thanks for posting these, Kate. Your art always delights me. <3
ReplyDeleteI love your molygon. You add your own personal style to the tangle. There is nothing wrong with that. It's awesome! This is what is so great about the Zentangle method.
ReplyDeleteSo much yummy texture in your molygon
ReplyDeleteAll beautiful. I love the hinge too. My favorite is the Hindu with its pale mottled field.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful...I love your Molygon tile and have to admit I've gone from not liking the tangle to really being rather besotted with it! Lovely colours here too. Axxx
ReplyDeleteYour molygon tile is super. Simple and bold.
ReplyDeleteMolygon seems to work easily one time and get finicky the next. Yours looks lovely though done on an arch. Lily's tangle is beautiful, and I love the flow on your sweet little bijou!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tiles!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous tiles Kate!
