Greetings Fellow
Tanglers!
This week the diva’s challenge is based off a recent blog post by Rick and Maria, who wrote about comfort tangles and going
back to the basics. The diva challenged us to do the same using our “MacNCheese”
tangles. I really had to think about that for a bit…. My “MacNCheese” tangles seem
to have changed over time, or at least I will go off on some tangents for a while
using a tangle over and over. I finally decide that I would look though my
stacks of tiles and see which ones just kept on showing up. This is what came
up, Printempts, Yin Cut, Betweed, Purk, Tipple, and Poke Root. These are my
standbys for when I am not doing a specific challenge, and just flow out of the pen with out thinking.
I started the IAST
#188 last week and didn’t have time to finish it in order to get it in by the deadline, but for
what it’s worth here it is.
It’s the end of the
quarter at school, and I am up to my eye balls in grading,
so that’s all folks!
Thanks for stopping by,
and for all of your lovely comments!
They do make my day!
Have a great week and
Tangle on!
I love your tiles :-)
ReplyDeleteYour Purk is so special! Love it!😍 And the combination with the other tangles!
ReplyDeleteI love your I.A.S.T. tile, it is gorgeous, the composition and the colours... but also your Diva's tile is very nice.
ReplyDeleteI love your Purk. Looks like a big stack of olives. Fun.
ReplyDeleteThat Purk is AWESOME; of course the whole tile is too, but the Purk really shows off.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful tile, Kate. I don't know why, but your Purk made me smile :-)
ReplyDeleteLovely work for the diva-challenge and your IAST-tile looks really great! So beautiful colours - I am a big fan of this one!!! Great :-)
ReplyDeleteKate, your response to the IAST Challenge #188 is soooooooo pretty!! I am inspired to get out my watercolors and make some backgrounds to tangle on! Thank you!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tiles! I'm a big fan of your shading! (I'm working on mine!)
ReplyDeleteYour mac 'n cheese tile is super, especially the Purk, and the colors on your second tile are just yummy!
ReplyDeleteMy favourites change too, over time, Kate. I love yours! It took me an age to work out what 'mac'ncheese' meant! I use the much more prosaic 'comfort food' - it's definitely not mac n cheese though!! Your IAST tiles is absolutely beautiful! Good luck with end of term...Axxx
ReplyDeleteWonderful Diva Challenge tile. I love your IAST tile - gorgeous! So glad you posted it.
ReplyDeleteTwo beautiful and special tiles! Love them.
ReplyDeleteYour tiles are so beautiful! Love them both! My favorit is the IAST because of the wonderful colors!
