Greetings Tanglers!
It’s a quick one today,
as I have conferences this week that I need to get prepared for at school.
The diva challenge this
week is a DuoTangle using Marasu and Molygon. I used a renaissance 3Z tile with
black and brown micron, graphite, and white charcoal.
I also finished a few more traveling tangles that are ready to send out.
Michele over at Coffee
and Creativity finished some starts that I sent her a while ago. They are so
lovely, and it was so fun to see how she finished them. If you want to take a
look you can here.
Thanks for stopping by,
and for all of your lovely comments!
They do make my day!
Have a great week and
Tangle on!
I love the woven effect in your Diva tile. The watercolour backgrounds are fabulous on the travelling tiles!
ReplyDeleteFabulous duotangle! I love your Molygon tucked into the Marasu! Very effective "shine" on your Marasu! I love the tangle you used in your smallest blue travelling tangle. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Deanne, The tangle you like is called Widgets... It actually is one I came up with. You can find the step out on tanglepatterns.com
DeleteThank you Kate!..... I'm going to try out your little Widgets! :)
DeleteI do like the tangles woven through each-other!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Diva tile! Molygon joins Marasu in a very original way.
ReplyDeleteThat Diva tile is fabulous. I love the colours but the combination of colour, shape and pattern is just fabulous.
ReplyDeleteVery clever Marasu and Molygon! And such amazing shine. I love your tangled travelling tiles too...Great to see your work again, I have been absent too long. Axxx
ReplyDeleteAmazing how you tucked the Molygon into the Marasu! Love it!
ReplyDeleteHi Lady Kate, My how your Marasu is so large to fill the space of a 3Z tile and all the while looking great!! I love how round it looks with all the accents....and, of course, with a few molygons thrown in for good measure. They look like they are being run through the "ringer" of the bulky folds of Marasu. I remember how my mother used to put out our laundry through a ringer to get the water out, before there was a rinse and dry cycle on the electric washer.
ReplyDeleteYour duotangle is fantastic and so clever;-) Your travelers are fantastic and I feel so lucky to have some in my collection. Photos can't do those pieces justice because they're so rich and lush. I love Widgets by the way;-) Thanks again for this inspiring collaboration.
ReplyDeleteWauwwwww, awesome. I love the high lights.
