Greetings fellow
tanglers! This week over at i am the diva the challenge is, bring it back to
the old school. It was fun to just tangle this week using just the basics. I did a
couple of tiles. First it was a little more Diva Dance, Bales, and Betweed.
Then I did a second
using Marasu, Purk, Printempts, Vitruvius, Hollibaugh, and Poke Root.
I also have some
catching up to do. December and early January went by like a flash and although
I did the challenges, I just never seemed to have the time to post them, so
here you go.
Challenge #249, Happy
five years to the Diva! Five AuraKnot Stars in a cosmos of Diva Dance.
Challenge #248, Give the
Gift of Zentangle. Here are some gift tags that I used on my gifts to the folks
at work, and one in a frame that was used as a package tie on, for my secret pal at
work.
Challenge #247, Use my
tangle, African Artist, by Tina-Akua Hunziker.
And last but not least
the guest challenge #246, Dilip Patels, Mono-tangle trees. A Nekton pine tree.
Thanks for stopping by,
and for all of your lovely comments!
They do make my day!
Have a great week and
Tangle on!
What super responses to the various challenges. The gold ones are wonderful. Your back to basics tile is awesome too, I love the heart shapes in the string.
ReplyDeleteVery nice!

I'm glad you're feeling better and can work on your tiles again. Your Diva Challenge tiles are great. I think you really captured the essence of this week's "Back to Basics" Diva challenge.
ReplyDeleteLove looking at all your diva challenges from the last while. Love the back to basics.
ReplyDeleteThe Diva did do a heartfelt delicate dance delightfully all over your tile. I it is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI like the tile with Diva Dance, Bales and Betweed, simple, " the old way" style but nice contribution
ReplyDeleteI'm sure there will be some form of Valentine's Day challenge approaching that you might want to 'recycle' this challenge for ;) I love these Diva Dance hearts! I wish I was on your gift giving list as those tags are wonderful! I sure do hope they appreciated the gift of the tag alone and they didn't end up in the garbage! Excellent submissions for all your catch ups too! WOW! You've been busy! Great job!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work; your first tile is my favorite :-)
ReplyDeleteAll of your tiles are beautiful but I love the "Hearts" in this weeks challenge. They seem to celebrate with each other
ReplyDeleteIt must feel good to catch up. I do like the simplicity of the back to basics tile.
ReplyDeleteAll are very beautiful; i think the monotangle tree is stunning!!!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful work!
ReplyDeleteSo wonderful work! Especially I like the first tile with these lovely Diva Dance hearts!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tiles! The first one is my favourite!
ReplyDeleteGreat tiles. I love the Divadance-hearts on your first one. And your bijou gifts are so wonderful, too.
ReplyDeleteI also enjoyed the back to basics week, especially because it coincided with me teaching a basics class. I can see that your two tiles for Challenge #250 must have been very satisfying. With the second one you really got the 3 dimensional thing going.
ReplyDeleteSooo beautiful - Thanks!!!
ReplyDeleteWow! You have been busy. All of your work is very nicely done. The string with the hearts on your first tile was very nicely done.
