Greeting everyone. I
managed to get my, i am the diva challenge tiles done while visiting Hubby in the
hospital, and here and there during my sleepless nights. It is a Duotangle week using Pokeroot and Cubine.
Neither one of them turned out quite like I expected them too, but for what it’s
worth, here they are, a regular tile, and a little Bijou Zia. I used watercolor
for the Bijou tile.
Here are a few other
random tiles that I have worked on during this time too.
Thank you for stopping
by and for all your support and comments.
Have a great week and
Tangle On!
On some drawings pokeroot looks like cherries on yours it would rather look like grapes. it pleases me
ReplyDeleteI so appreciate this!
DeleteI like your take on this duotangle. They are both great. As for the other tiles, they are up to your usual high standards too. Great work!
ReplyDeleteThank you, that means a lot. :)
DeleteI love the stuff you show here, Kate. I also love the difference that you show between a black/white and a colored tile.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry about your sleepless nights, I hope you get enough rest in one way or another!
At least it gives me some time to tangle! :)
DeleteAll the tiles are wonderful, but my absolute favorite is the Bijou! Hang in there...
ReplyDeleteThese are so beautifully drawn! I love the difference between the two challenge tiles. Both are AMAZING!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment. Can't wait to try out your verbal directions, as the one time that I did this before it was great!
DeleteHello Kate, Your tiles are beautiful as always! Cubine has always been a favorite of mine because it can look so dimensional. That smaller tile would make such a beautiful addition to a card...love it! Take care, that sleep deprivation is so hard, I've started listening to music at night that i know the lyrics of...somehow the concentration on humming or singing seems to help me relax and get my mind off of worries. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your support! It does mean the world to me! :)
DeleteMmmm, your poke berries look like grapes in their tight clusters in the first one. I like the switch in perspective in the second - very Escher-ish.
ReplyDeleteThanks! I just played and thanks for that.
