The challenge from i am the diva is a UMT, use my tangle, brought to us by Eleanor Holt. Our challenge
is to use Athitzi, a tangle made up of straight lines. This really is a tangle
that incorporates the pen/pencil technique of hatching. I picked string #140 off of tanglepatterns.com and used Athitzi, Crescent moon, and some Tipple to
complete my tile. My thanks to all of you who sent such kind thoughts to me last
week. I appreciate it more than I can say. It has been a challenging thing getting
used to the new normal.
Thanks for stopping by.
Have a great week and Tangle On!
I love the composition and contrast you put in this tile. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThis is the first one I've seen mixing it with other patterns and it works really well.
ReplyDeleteThat's really great! I love how you used the string. I have that in my sketchbook but I haven't used it yet.
ReplyDeleteVery serene!
ReplyDeleteWow! Great composition and a really nice use of the Athitzi. Lovely work, Kate!
ReplyDeleteHi, just wanted to say I really like your combination of Athizi and crescent moon it looks great! :)
ReplyDeleteI like how you used Athitzi as a fill behind other tangles. Lovely tile!
ReplyDeleteReally nice. I know it's not a Rorschach test, but I swear I see a lovely butterfly lifting off the page.
ReplyDeleteI'm thought the same thing. :)
DeleteVery nice tile! I really like the combination with crescent moon and Tipple :-)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful contrast and shading.
Hi Kate, I've missed a couple of weeks too but have caught up on your difficult news. So sorry to hear about your husband....

ReplyDeleteBeauriful tile, I do like the way you used Athitzi in the right upper corner. It looks very much like stitched with yarn. Looks great. Well done.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tile :)
