It’s a Terrific Tuesday!
This week’s challenge
from i am the diva is a UMT, use my tangle, brought to us by Anneke Van Dam. I
had some fun playing with this tangle, and here is the result.
I also continued to play
with the Bijou tiles, as I received my order, and they were so much fun last
week.
Last is a photo of the
Super Moon, the night before it was actually full. The weather report called
for clouds, for the full moon, so I figured this was going to be it, if I
wanted to see it. It was amazing, almost like having daylight. No retouching at
all on the photo and it was just taken with my trusty point and shoot.
Thanks for the lovely
comments from everyone last week,
and for stopping by this week to see what I
have been up to.
Tangle On!
Very nice tile! Looks like cloth at a fabric mill! I love your Bijoux too, especially the one with the arches.
ReplyDeleteYou've put nice 3D effect on the tile. And the picture from the super moon is very nice too.
ReplyDeleteKate I LOVE what you did with this tangle.. so very nice... unique and lovely... very very nice... love the picture of the huge moon... we were fogged in... rain and stormy for the past three nights now... no moon... thanks so very much... Love, Light and Peace...Bonnie
ReplyDeleteTotally wonderful and original.
ReplyDeleteThe roller coaster depth is great. Congratulations on doing something very creative with this challenge.
ReplyDeleteYour shading and depth is amazing. It looks like a bolt of rolled out fabric. Your colour scheme is also very nice.
ReplyDeleteWow, I love the challenge tile and also love the Bijou's. Especially the one with Zinger.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the beautiful photo of the Super Moon, I missed it :-(
I love all your tiles. I really like our approach on MacDee.
ReplyDeleteWow, your interpretation of MacDee is stunning, I love it!
ReplyDeleteI like all the tiles shown here but the Macdee one is especially good. That 3D wave is excellent and the use of colour is very attractive. Great tile all round.
ReplyDeletewhat fun! I love the rolls in your MacDee, but in your bijou tiles, the way you've done Tropicana, with zinger growing up inside...how delightful! Two of my favorite patterns, and you've made them look like a charming old chapel in the woods.
ReplyDeleteAnd your photo of the moon! Breathtaking...
They're all beautiful tiles!
ReplyDeleteLove how you used MacDee, and all your beautiful Bijou tiles!
ReplyDeleteFantastic tiles :)
ReplyDeleteI am in awe looking at your work. That first tile just took my breath away. And your Bijou tiles are so nice too. Also, thanks for sharing that beautiful moon photo!
ReplyDeleteYou're killing me with those excellent special effects! Absolutely beautifully done tiles! WOW! And I know what you mean about the moon. Almost every month we look at something like this out the window. Then our white cat sits in the dark moonlit room and he becomes a mooncat.
ReplyDeleteKate, I'm speechless...... Your colored MacDee in Romanancy style, just WOW!! Love the Bijoux, too!
ReplyDeleteI love all of these. Just signed up to follow your blog.
ReplyDeleteGreat effect to do MacDee in Romanancy style. The coloring and effect are great.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great tile and how you used MacDee!! It has so much depth. I like the colors you used. The bijou's are lovely, especially the one with the arches I like!
ReplyDeleteAnd the moon...fabulous shot!
Beautiful Tiles, Kate. All of them are so well done. Stunning and awesome can be applied to each of your tiles without exception. I love them and really appreciate your technical skills in design and drawing that give us such awesome art. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteFantastic tile with MacDee! Great 3D effect and lovely colours! Great Bijou tiles, too!
ReplyDeleteI love the shiny 3d "pillars" in your diva tile. Very cool (like marble!) And your Bijoux, so nice.
ReplyDeleteFab macdee with all that orange, and your photo of the moon is super!
ReplyDeleteLike Betsy I see marble pillars wrapped in MacDee, love it. I also love the blue aquafleur Bijou tile x
ReplyDeleteWow, your tiles are great, very well done!
ReplyDeleteOh, so very clever, Kate! I love what you've done with Macdee...I wasn't liking it so much til I saw this and now I see it in a totally different light - I love it! And such beautiful Bijou tiles too...a pleasure to stop by! Axxx
