Happy St. Patrick’s Day
to All!
This week’s challenge
from i am the diva was to take inspiration from St. Patrick’s day in any way
that you wished. I decided to use a new tangle called Rixty, designed to
celebrate Rick Roberts sixtieth birthday. If you would like to learn how to do
this tangle please contact your nearest CZT for a lesson on Rixty. I used the Spoking Rixties and varied them in to what else, some shamrocks. A little
tipple to finish off and here you go, a bit of luck for all of you!
Thanks to you all, for
the lovely comments you leave, they make my day!
Have a great week and Tangle
On!
Beautiful! They DO look like little shamrocks.
ReplyDeleteOh, wow - beautiful, Ilike it! :)
ReplyDeleteLove your Rixty! We both used this as an opportunity to remind people about the benefits of leaning from a CZT!
ReplyDeleteLovely! Can't wait to see the stepouts for Rixty....not a chance of a CZT class in my area. :-( Makes a great shamrock tangle. Axxx
ReplyDeleteOh how fun!! Really well done!
ReplyDeletewhat a great idea for a lovely tile!
ReplyDeleteWOW, this is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous tile! Your Rixty is brilliant!
ReplyDeleteVERY CLEVER - how you used Rixty. I haven't been able to get my mind around using that tangle... something just felt... wrong about it, off balanced, something weird. But using it the way you did to make shamrocks... well, you're a freakin genius, lady!
ReplyDeletelove it!
I love this, Kate! Beautifully done.
ReplyDeleteHey, Kate. You and I were in the same seminar #9. I love watching your growth and appreciate your sharing. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteA beautiful tile, you did a good practice on Rixty, it looks great with the green pearls or bubbles on the background.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea with turning the sixty into shamrocks. Very well done!
ReplyDeleteI love the way you have done this like the green
ReplyDeleteLots of little shamrocks floating on the Guinness froth, haha. I like this new tangle and the way that you have used it here x
ReplyDeleteLovely take on shamrocks! They look like a bit like celtic knots so double Irish theme, there.
