More on Challenge #160

I just couldn’t stop playing with the spirals this week so here is another one using spiraling Rixty! See how everyone else is solving the challenge over at i am the diva.

I have also had a few requests for some close ups of the ATC deck so here they are for those of you who wanted to see some more detail.

Lastly, Here is the completed ensemble piece, with the tile from my first post this week in it.

Weekly Challenge #160

Happy Monday everyone! Here are my two spirals for the, i am the diva challenge this week. One an ATC for the deck swap some of us are playing in, and another tile, part of an ensemble that I am sending off this afternoon for a CZT Tangle U event. I’ll try to post a picture of the finished ensemble later.

Weekly Challenge #159

Happy St. Patrick’s Day to All!

This week’s challenge from i am the diva was to take inspiration from St. Patrick’s day in any way that you wished. I decided to use a new tangle called Rixty, designed to celebrate Rick Roberts sixtieth birthday. If you would like to learn how to do this tangle please contact your nearest CZT for a lesson on Rixty. I used the Spoking Rixties and varied them in to what else, some shamrocks. A little tipple to finish off and here you go, a bit of luck for all of you!

Weekly Challenge #158

This challenge this week from i am the diva is to use Diva Dance and Crescent Moon in a Duo-tangle. Here is my first tile playing around with these two patterns. We are finally having some warmer weather! I’m on my way to get outside and enjoy it! Melt, snow melt!

More on Challenge #157

I had a bit more time today to try out some more of Charlie, this weeks UMT challenge from i am the diva. I played around with scale a bit on this one, using Charlie, Striping and Knase. 

 I wanted to try out a new tangle by Annie Taylor called Lamota, which you can see here, and I paired it with another tangleation of Tropicana. They both have one part that is similar in shape. I wanted to try out some shading options on Lamota too.

Weekly Challenge #157

Happy Monday everyone! This weeks challenge from i am the diva is a UMT, use my tangle challenge. We are using Erin Olson’s tangle Charlie in this challenge. I know that I have a super busy week coming up, so I at least wanted to show you this one on an ATC tile, and if I have time later in the week I will give it another whirl.
