Merry Happy Challenge # 148

Merry Happy!

On the First day of Christmas my true love gave to me A Partridge in a Pear Tree,

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree…..

Of course we need some ornaments for the tree,

  And some presents for underneath,

 

Deck the Halls with Boughs of Holly,

And Warm Woolen Mittens….

(We have been getting lots of use out of those in Minnesota!) 

These are a few of my favorite things!

And the Stockings were hung by the Chimney with care,

While visions of Sugarplums danced in their heads.

My Wish for You and Yours this Season of Joy,

It seems that I was a week ahead on my Merry Happy, so excuse me posting it again.

Boo~Kee Challenge # 147

Greetings from a very snowy day in Minnesota! I played around with this very fun pattern from I am the diva, CZT Laura Harms, called Boo~Kee and finally finished up one variation making the “leaf” shape a bit more seasonal. I broke out the copics for the color. This was round two, after I had the red bleed all over in the first one that I had drawn. I had forgotten how much the reds will move, as it has been awhile since I have used them. At least in this neck of the woods, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
