Weekly Challenge #191

The challenge this week from, i am the diva, is a monotangle using Betweed.

Betweed is one of my favorite tangles to use, and over the years I have used it in many a tangle. I wanted to try something a little different with one of the Renaissance tiles, but what was in my head and what came out was not quite the same thing. That’s tangling for you! Here it is anyway, as with the end of the quarter this Thursday, I am up to my eyeballs in grading! If I have some extra time I may give it another go.

Also needed to get a Make Me Happy Zentangle finished for someone, and she wanted a tangled football ATC. So....

Are you ready for some Monday Night Football?!?

Thanks for stopping by and for any comments you choose to leave.
I always enjoy hearing from you!

Have a great week and Tangle on!

  1. I said the same thing with the picture in my head problem... funny isn't it?! I really like your tile. It's tropical, which we can all use a bit more of in October.

  13. That Betweed tile is just what my head wanted to do but you got it perfect and I didn't see mine through. It's the colour that softens all those lines and yours is just beautiful.

  14. I love these Tiles, Kate. I find your Betweed Tile to be beautifully done, with such an awesome design, colors, and shading. Your MNF ATC is excellent. Love how you created the shadow under the football. Very accurate and precise line work on both Tiles.

  23. This unplanned tangle turned out so very lovely. The colors almost seem to glow. I like how you used only white in some sections. And that football? Well, just amazing! I'm sure your friend loved it.

  24. Kate,
As you know, Iowa is a little slower than Minnesota with these new fangled tangles! I think a Ren. Faire XXX tile would be a lovely way to celebrate next year and gives you time to think and experiment. These are all so wonderful.
    Love, You Sec-re-taire
