Weekly Challenge #253

Greeting fellow Tanglers!
I am awaiting the start of the snow as we are in a winter storm warning here in Minnesota, we are going to get hit by winter storm Kayla! (I think it is so funny that they now name the storms!) No one seems to know how much we are going to get, but I have heard anywhere from 3 to 10 inches mentioned, depending who you are listening to, and where the line cuts. We haven’t had any large snowfalls this year, so in a strange sort of way I am looking forward to it, with the exception of the commute to and from school. It will not be nearly enough to call off school for us. Oh how I do miss those random snow days that one would get when you are more rural. My sister who teaches in northern Iowa already knew last night that she would not have school today as they are in a blizzard warning.
Moving on to the diva challenge this week using Molygon. I am still working on getting the ends of mine the way that I would like them and some of the pieces are a bit wonky, but for what it’s worth here are two tiles that I worked on this week.

Here is another playing with all sorts of fills for the inside of the shape. I think that I am going to paste this into my Zentangle book and keep adding more as I think of them, or see them in others work, so I can have a whole selection of possibilities.

Thanks for stopping by, and for all of your lovely comments!
They do make my day!
Have a great week and Tangle on!

  2. Lovely, I like the contrasting backgrounds of the first one but the one with the different fillings is very interesting

  3. Love your first one with the contrast between dark and light. I think you're right about endless possibilities with this tangle. I'm still practicing in my sketchbook, but I think I'll be heading for a tile soon!
